Teresa Alpert’s
entrepreneurial spirit and unbounded energy have led her to
study and serve in areas ranging from aspirin to homeopathy,
mastectomy to compression therapy, acupressure to nutrition, and
comfort footwear.

First there was
Alpert's Pharmacy & Medical, then SHARE (Support Hospice
Area Resource Exchange, Inc.) Next was Alpert's
Medical "Perfectly You," offering the finest in
mastectomy and surgical garments, then HealthWorks, leasing
space to some of Baltimore's best alternative health care
practitioners, expanding operations to open a Pedorthic center
with a splash of retail ShoeFits Comfort Footwear Center was
born and www.shoedoctor.com
was launched.
Selected as one
of Maryland’s Top 100 Women, she has been nominated for
Maryland’s Entrepreneur of the Year award. She is active on
the Presidential Advisory Board of the Baltimore CEO Club,
mentors for the Women Entrepreneurs of Baltimore, and serves
on NSRA’s Board of Directors. Her faculty appointments
include the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Eneslow
Pedorthic Institute, Apex University and the Dr. William
Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. She is also a primary
teacher of NSRA’s popular “When the Shoe Fits” course.
Ms. Alpert is the founder of SHARE (Support Hospice Area
Resource Exchange, Inc.), which raises funds for terminally
ill patients.

is the mastectomy division of Alpert's. Private appointments
and individual attention to detail, offered in a friendly
non-sterile environment. Certified fitters will measure and
fit for post surgical garments. Breast forms to match skin
color. Direct with Amoena, Coloplast, Active, Camp, Jodee,
Spenco, Ladies First, and Suzanne. Custom bras for custom
sizing. More then mastectomy, we measure and fit orthopedic
appliances, compression stockings, and prescription footwear.
Affectionately known as "Teresa's Tits to Toes"--if
it's worn on your body we can fit it!
